Hello! Do you know those music tracks on Dragon Ball: Neo Arcadia as theme songs for specific arcs? They're from YouTube, but it doesn't show the video, since it looks nothing like the article. So I just do something that only shows the track and not the video. So, I will start a tutorial on how to make this thing!
Let's begin! You'll need some (random sounding) stuff:
- Youtube. To find the video you want to add to the article.
- Youtube Downloader. I like to use YTD Video Downloader.
- An ogg converter. I like to use this one.
- Wikia itself. Pretty obvious.
So to start off, find the song you want to add from Youtube. We'll use RWBY Theme: From Shadows Extended (RoosterTeeth) v2 as an example.
Now, we use our YTD Video Downloader. We copy the YouTube video link, and paste it into the downloader. It should look something like this:
Click download and wait until it's finished. Next, you open the .ogg converter website. Select the downloaded video. If you're using the same converter as I am (see point 3), then it should look like this:
Now don't worry about the box inside with "Change audio bitrate and stuff". Like it's titled, it says "Optional Settings", so you don't need to tamper with that stuff. Just press convert file and wait until it downloads.
And you're just about done! All you need to do now is just go to Wikia and see what article you want to put that song in. Just go to edit mode, and click Add Photo, then select the .ogg file you just downloaded, put it on your article, and click "publish". Congrats, you're done! Now here's the example of the result: File is too big to upload >.> Whatever, have a shorter version of the song.
